The Salesforce Administrator Resume
Here at QAForce.co.uk we like to be a bit different, a bit more creative at times so for us – the boring old Resume is too old, too dial-up, too ancient for us….bring on the modern day Salesforce Administrator CV.
Salesforce is a modern company and according to the latest reports the Salesforce Administrator will be a heavily sought after role in the near future (if not now!). So, why not create yourself a modern resume. No more boring bullet points, or waffle about the task that you completed day to day in your previous roles – just a clear, concise design that will definitely stand out from the rest and catch the eye of your future employer. Remember, the Resume is normally to catch their attention, however with a modern twist on the Resume, your experience and personality will shine through before you have even got the chance to wow them face-to-face!

A Salesforce Administrator Resume that is difficult to read, confusing, covered in typos, or unrelated to the job you are applying for will end up in the bin straight away – or might not even get to be printed off in the first place. Recruiters will receive dozens of applicants for each role that is on offer and sometimes are looking for that certain person, that may have the skill set and/or the experience that the role requires, but don’t forget a sign of a good employer is one that also takes into account personality, fitting in with the current team and it’s own personalities and the company values. Sometimes, the personality can actually be more appealing that skills and experience that can be obtained during employment. Therefore, never underestimate what a modern (maybe even a little bit ‘out-there’) resume can do for you.
Top Tips for writing a killer Resume
- Stick to what is relevant, write your resume to highlight what is relevant to your prospective employer.
- Promote the skills that you enjoy using, they could form part of the interview and your enthusiasm will naturally show when discussing these.
- Highlight your achievements, don’t write a job description for each role you have had – showcase your success!
- Focus on what you actually did in your roles, not what the job actually entailed.
- Include a paragraph of a quick career summary, or description about yourself (remember questions could be asked during an interview based on what you write, so be sure to re-read this prior to the interviewing).
- Be honest, creative writing is one thing, but never lie on your resume.
Also, remember about your digital resume. Make sure that your LinkedIn profile is up to date and doesn’t conflict with the resume that you are applying for roles with. Furthermore, don’t forget about the Salesforce Trailhead Digital resume that you can send to future employers – make sure that you claim your Trailhead Vanity URL before someone else does!
